to Project Management Developing You (PMDY). PMDY
is sponsored and authorized by the BAE Systems
Corporate Project Management Council (CPMC). The
Company's Operational Framework mandates that
all councils "ensure functional personnel
are developed by recommending both appropriate
functional training and career development"
and to "continually strive to develop and
improve functional capability to assist the Company
in meeting its Integrated Business Plan".
PMDY's mission is to support continuous improvement
in project performance and ability to capture
future business, such as that of complex systems
integration and availability contracting, which
will require increased numbers of highly capable
resources.
PMDY directly supports the BAE Systems' Strategic
Objectives of:
" Continuing to embed a high-performance
culture across the entire Company
" Further enhancing program execution capabilities
across the entire Company
" Increasing sharing of expertise, technology,
and best practices between global business units
" Developing the Company's capabilities in
emerging growth markets.
